Forrest C. HelvieForrest Helvie is the author and creator of Whiz Bang the Boy Robot and Amelia the Adventure Bear. He lives in Newington, CT with his wife and two sons. He is an English professor at Norwalk Community College and his literary interests are broad-ranging from medieval Arthurian to 19th century American, in addition to pedagogy, comics studies, and superheroes.
He regularly writes for Marvel.com and Newsarama as a comics journalist in addition to serving as an academic editor and reviewer for various journals and publications. Forrest has also been active in writing comics for indie publishers such as GrayHaven Comics, Red Stylo, and TPub along with his own self-published comics. Michelle LodgeMichelle Lodge is the artist who breathes life into Whiz Bang and Amelia. She is an illustrator who specializes in comic book and graphic novel illustration. Michelle discovered her love for art and comic books at a young age, and the passion never ended. She has studied at Florida School of the Arts, and attained her BFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She enjoys drawing everything from lighthearted cartoons to dark and gritty noir stories.
Michelle currently resides in the artistic town of Asheville, North Carolina, with her husband Aaron and their daughter Coral and their son Calvin. |
Adam WolletAdam Wollet is a father, writer, and letterer from Jacksonville, Florida. When he's not working on comics, he's reading, gaming, or going on adventures with his daughter. His graphic novel, Kingdom Bum (Action Lab), is available at fine comic shops and online retailers nationwide.
